1. What This Site Is

Peebee Software Solutions is a personal project run by an individual in Australia. This website is a place to share homelab projects, software experiments, blog posts, and tools. I operate under PIPSCOMPUTERS PTY LTD, a registered Australian company under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), and can take on paid work if needed. All work is done remotely.

2. Licensing & Free Use

This means you are free to:

• Use. Access, download, and use anything on this site for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Share. Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
• Adapt. Remix, transform, and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes

You may NOT use any content, software, or tools from this site to make money or for any commercial purpose without prior written permission. If you want to use something commercially, contact me first.

Some projects on my GitHub may have their own specific open-source licences (MIT, GPL, etc.). Where a specific licence is provided with a project, that licence takes precedence over these terms for that project.

3. Intellectual Property & Ideas

If you pay for services: In the event that someone pays me for development work or services, the intellectual property for that paid work belongs to you (the paying client). Upon payment, I will hand over all IP rights for the work delivered.

All original content on this website (text, graphics, code, blog posts) remains my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

4. Use of AI

I use AI tools and technologies to help build, develop, test, and create content for this site and its projects. This includes but is not limited to code generation, testing, and content creation. AI is a core part of how I work.

5. No Warranties & "As Is"

Everything on this site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law (ACL):

• I make no guarantees that anything works correctly, is complete, or is fit for any particular purpose
• I am not liable for any damage, data loss, or issues that arise from using anything on this site
• Services may go offline, change, or be removed at any time without notice

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Advertising & Paywalls

• This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Ad revenue helps keep the site running and services free
• Cookies are used by Google to serve ads. See the Privacy Policy for details
• Some services or content may have a paywall or premium features in the future. If so, this will be clearly indicated
• You agree not to engage in click fraud or artificially inflate ad impressions

7. Your Right to Not Engage

You are under no obligation to use this site, its services, or contact me. If you do not agree with anything here, your right is simply to not engage. Close the browser and move on, no hard feelings.

8. User Conduct

If you use this site or any of its services, you agree not to:

• Use anything for illegal purposes or in violation of Australian law
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
• Abuse the contact form or any services (rate limits and spam protection are in place)
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from this site without permission
• Use any content commercially without prior written permission (see Section 2)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law:

• I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site
• My total liability for any claim shall not exceed zero dollars (since all services are free), unless a separate paid agreement exists
• I am not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party sites linked from this website

10. Encryption & Security Services

Some services (such as IceShare) provide encryption features:

• End-to-end encryption means only you and your recipients can access the content
• I cannot recover encrypted data if you lose your keys or passwords
• You are responsible for the security of your own credentials

11. Privacy

Your use of this site is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Please read it.

12. Termination

I reserve the right to block access, remove content, or shut down any service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You can stop using the site at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State/Territory in which I reside. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

Where applicable, the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) applies to these terms and nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

15. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under Australian law, that part will be severed and the remaining terms will continue in full force.
